My work consists of surreal, narrative-driven sculptures that primarily portray bizarre characters and imagery from urban environments. I hand-build all my ceramic pieces with red clay and paint them with underglazes, clear glaze, crackle glazes and occasionally post firing surfaces. I also use other materials such as wood, paper, thread, nails, used lollipop sticks, etc., especially when creating large scale, illustrative installations.
